DRILLERS REGISTRATION
The purpose of the Drillers Registration programme is to provide recognition of a visible and evidenced career path for current personnel and future generations. It brings a coordinated, consistent approach to identify the mix of skills, experience and training within the industry.
It provides evidence for drilling clients that the holder has been independently assessed against key criteria by the council of the federation.
These criteria are:
- NZQA Health and Safety Qualification
- NZQA First Aid Qualification
- Full driving licence of applicable class plus NZQA endorsements
- Experience working in the industry for the prescribed amount of time for each level and/or have passed prescribed qualifications
- Providing supportive work references
