Under the new Water Services Act 2021, any potable water supply for more than one dwelling MUST BE REGISTERED. The new regulator is called Taumata Arowai and to register your water supply you can go to:
This has been the new drinking water standard since March 2019. It provides strict standards on what is a secure bore so all members need to be familiar with this and make sure all tenders are using this standard
As part of your NZDF membership, you have access to an n3 membership at no extra cost.
n3 is a business buying network with 16,000 Members dedicated to making it simple for Kiwi businesses to save money across all day-to-day expenses.
In 2022, the average NZDF member saved $18,261* utilising n3 Suppliers, primarily on building materials, health & safety equipment, office supplies and fuel.
n3 are New Zealand’s largest buying group and have saved their members over $67 million in the last 12 months
Two ways to save with n3:
On-Account: Trade directly with any n3 Supplier and receive a monthly invoice.
Trade Card & App: Trade with selected n3 Suppliers, pay cash/EFTPOS at the time of purchase for your goods to receive your discount.
If you currently purchase from one of their Suppliers, they can connect your existing account to the n3 price file if beneficial. You keep the direct Supplier relationship, purchasing as you usually would – simply at a lower price.
Calling all New Zealand Drilling Federation Members
Our new responsive website works on all mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. Also, we now have the ability to showcase more relevant drilling industry images throughout the site, so how it looks from here is up to you.
As an official Member of the Federation, your input is important to us. We want the site to contain vital information your drilling operation requires and finds helpful. At the same time we want the site to look good, so if you have any historical or interesting drilling images we would love to show them off. If you are going to send us any images, we do require them to be of a reasonable quality and size (they must be at least 1,500 pixels wide).
To ensure this section of the web site reaches its full potential and becomes a useful business tool we would appreciate feedback on the material you would like to see appear on this page.
Click here to contact us and give feedback on the Members Only area of the site.
Remember it is the aim of the NZDF to assist all members in developing their business within the drilling industry.
